Fine silver (99.9%) stepped bezel strip (bezel wire) with a ornate pattern. This bezel strip has two thicknesses of wire that form a seat when the wire is shaped into a bezel, allowing you to create a mount with an open back and a seat already in place. The step supports the flat base of the stone and the thinner upper section bends inward to secure the stone. The strip is easy to bend and shape and can be used to make settings for unusually shaped cabochons.
