These handy pliers punch holes in soft sheet metal (copper, gold-filled, sterling silver, and brass). They create a smooth, clean hole without barbs or rough edges. Plus, with the gauge guard, the area around the hole will be free of unsightly indentations. Ideal for creating pendants and connectors. One bonus replacement pin is included. Whilst the instructions say they are suitable for sheet metal up to 22 gauge (0.64mm) in thickness we find that up to 0.5mm is more comfortable.
